• We conduct site induction briefings for every job.
• We prepare or the subcontractor prepares SWMS (Safe Work Method Statements) for every job.
• More importantly we supervise and check safety compliance regularly.
• Our site supervisors are well qualified and are regularly updated with safety certification courses.
• We conduct ad hoc audits to ensure SWMS documents are filed and adequate for each job.
• Our TDS and MSDS procedures are tight and compliant.
• Last year we joined the WorkCover mentor programme to continue to build safety awareness and systems.
• Although maintaining compliant OH&S paper work is important we continue our primary focus which is to maintain a safe workplace.
• NCS International (Management Systems Certification Organisation) formally and audited and subsequently accredited Andersal with AS 4801 compliance in October 2008. This is an ongoing accreditation with yearly 3rd party auditing of our OHS systems.
• Andersal joined the Work Cover mentor program in 2008 to build safety awareness and enhance our safety systems. We were invited to address the nest years recruits on our experience with the program.
