The purpose of this project was to upgrade the deteriorating roof sheeting and facade cladding of the apartment building. The scope of works included repair of metal, concrete, masonry, waterproofing and stormwater systems.
This 89 unit building located next to Elizabeth Bay wharf is exposed to aggressive environmental conditions. Accordingly, the repair specification was extensive with an emphasis on material and workmanship warranty periods.
Andersal engaged to fix the leaks and waterproof the level 5 common terrace and areas of the penthouse suites. Remedial renovations to the pool area, new tiles, balustrading and downpipes to enhance the iconic Balmain building.
